Let's talk about UGC

I'm sure like me, you'll have seen the new wave of creators starting out in UGC...you may even be one of them! While I love UGC as a source of revenue, let's talk about why you should NEVER go down the route of UGC alone! 

For anyone new to this let me briefly summarise what UGC is; it stands for User Generated Content. Brands and businesses will hire creators to produce content for them in line with a brief. The best part of UGC is you can earn money here with 0 followers...you just need to be able to produce high-quality content and understand how to market a product or service.

There are many ways you can get started in UGC but here's why I don't love it as a sole source of revenue....

Brands consistently change how they work with creators and UGC won't be around in it's current format forever. 

You need to work on building a business model as a content creator that allows you to stay one!
